About 'To Be Calm'
To Be Calm was created in Singapore by busy corporate mother, Cherylynne Clews. While working in a global role with a Fortune 500 company, and being an involved, supportive and busy mum, Cherylynne recognised the need to more frequently reflect upon calmer, more serene times in her life – happy childhood memories filled with the outdoors, playing in the garden, collecting flowers and leaves to make magical potions and luxuriating in the amazing aromas of the Australian bush. Creating a sense of calm and embracing beautiful fragrance memories has become such an important part of Cherylynne’s daily life in this otherwise busy and often hectic world.
In her demanding role with American Express and reporting into New York, Cherylynne maintained and shared her love and experience of fragrance by taking her favourite candles and essential oils into the corporate meeting rooms, helping to create a calm atmosphere and an optimal state of mind for all. Recognising how much her friends and colleagues enjoyed the use of fragrance inspired Cherylynne to embrace her passion and create To Be Calm.
More than ten years on, To Be Calm has become the leading fragrance brand in Singapore and is recognised and sought after by many people throughout the world who have experienced the unique aromas and exceptional products that have been so thoughtfully and lovingly created by Cherylynne. Each fragrance has a name and a story reflecting moments and special experiences Cherylynne has joyfully shared with family, colleagues and friends during her travels.
Now, after 20 years of living abroad, Cherylynne has returned home with her grown family where she is so happy to now launch To Be Calm with its sensory, luxurious and beautifully presented products for all Australians and visitors to this amazing country to enjoy.
